Twitch has become a hub for all kinds of content in recent years. Viewers have a lot to choose from, including broadcasts by the pool, from IRL streams to esports tournaments and a large catalog of games.
In 2021, streams in a hot tub or pool were a popular “Twitch meta,” causing quite a stir on the platform. While many streamers eventually became bored with their pool’s streams and moved on, the category is far from dead.
A recent pool stream ended in utter disaster when the streamer fell into the pool by accident.
MillieMiless and her friend and fellow streamer Tiggy Smith were set up by a pool in their hotel in Mexico during their live stream on February 16th.
The two-hour stream was just a casual broadcast while relaxing by the pool. As Tiggy sat in her chair, however, things took a turn for the worse. The streamer slipped and fell into the pool while holding her $2k Macbook laptop.
Tiggy, on the other hand, appeared to be unaffected by her brief dip in the pool. On the other hand, we can’t say the same about the Macbook – we’re pretty sure they’re not waterproof.
To soak up all of the water, the streamer will need a lot of rice.
