A Warzone streamer was accused of cheating after videos of him attempting and failing to kill enemies while allegedly using aimbot went viral, with his frustration growing with each death. Streamers such as JGOD are now calling him out.
Hacking has long been a source of frustration for Warzone players. It became so widespread that Activision was forced to implement the RICOCHET anti-cheat system, which, while not immediately effective, has helped to reduce the number of cheaters.
However, the problem hasn’t gone away completely, as cheaters can still get in and ruin other people’s fun, just like in any other multiplayer game.
RICOCHET’s anti-cheat measures don’t always simply prevent players from loading in; when a player suspects a cheater, they begin to take action before the cheater receives a full ban, which results in some hilarious reactions.
Popular Warzone wizard JGOD and Toronto Ultra streamer Royalize both called out a cheating streamer, showing a suspicious clip of the streamer as well as proof that his K/D had jumped from 1.2 to 5+ “overnight.”
That wasn’t all, as more videos of the streamer hitting’suspicious’ clips began to surface.
They all show the streamer, bustbeforetrust, hitting a lot of headshots, not missing any of his shots, and his bullets simply doing no damage once RICOCHET caught on — a clear indication that the anti-cheat is working against him.
Many of the tweets directed at Bustbeforetrust were answered by Bustbeforetrust, who denied any allegations of cheating and attributed his improved skill to his experience and switch to PC.
Despite community members’ pleas to report him and have him removed from the platform, his Twitch channel is still active as of this writing.
