Hasan ‘Hasanabi’ Piker, a popular Twitch streamer, slammed the current NFT craze, calling it “not art” and a “pyramid scheme.”

Non-fungible tokens, or NFTs, became a huge craze in 2021. Despite the severe backlash they’ve received from celebrities and organizations, it seems like new NFT projects are announced every day.

Pokimane, a popular Twitch streamer, slammed the new technology, calling it “cringe.”

Now, Hasan, a fellow Twitch star, has joined in on the roasting of the digital tokens, implying that NFT buyers are only in it for the money.

On February 1st, Hasan was livestreaming when he ripped into NFTs and the people who promote them.

He targeted the well-known Bored Apes, who has quickly become the face of all NFTs.

Hasan brutally mocked Jimmy Fallon and Paris Hilton in a viral video of them talking about the Bored Apes they bought.

NFTs are a “scam,” according to the 30-year-old Twitch streamer, who also claims that “claiming this is modern art is idiotic.”

Hasan has stated that he does not believe in NFTs and will not be purchasing one anytime soon.
