A well-known political commentator and Twitch streamer Hasanabi recently documented his encounter with Shangi-Chi lead Simu Liu, and the Marvel actor responded to him on Twitter in an equally unexpected way.
As a passionate recreational basketball player, Hasan frequently shared on-stream tales of his encounters with other online content creators and famous people on the court. Hasan recently shared a humiliating exchange with Simu Liu, one of Marvel’s most recent MCU additions, in a tweet on his alternate account.
Hasan claimed that at first he was unsure of who he was playing basketball with before asking Simu about his job.
When Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings by Simu Liu debuted in September 2021, it broke records as one of Marvel’s most ambitious solo films ever, grossing over $250 million globally. Simu has continued to engage with fans and other creators despite his rapidly rising fame, and he even managed to find Hasan’s alternative account tweet.
