New events and store pricing changes have been added to Halo Infinite Multiplayer, but its Twitch viewership continues to decline.

For more than two months, Halo Infinite Multiplayer has been available. Many players have praised the game in some ways since it was released as a free-to-play title.

Despite this, some of the game’s flaws have gotten a lot of attention. Gamers have expressed dissatisfaction with the game’s mechanics, cheaters, store pricing, and other issues. Many of these issues were quickly resolved by 343 Industries. However, not every issue was resolved quickly in this manner. Some issues, such as Big Team Battle, persist, with BTB being unavailable more often than it ever was. All of these issues appear to have had an impact on Halo Infinite’s Twitch viewership.

Despite the developers’ efforts, Halo Infinite’s Twitch viewership continues to decline.

According to StreamCharts, the average Twitch viewership for Halo Infinite dropped from 26,136 in December 2021 to 9,636 in January 2022.

In addition to the decline in viewership, Halo Infinite content was broadcast on an average of 1402 channels in December 2021. In comparison, on January 20, 2022, an average of 756 channels will be broadcasting the game every day. Limited-time events have been promoted by 343 Industries, and store prices have even been reduced.

Nonetheless, according to data from Twitch Tracker, Halo Infinite’s viewership fell by 6% this week after the store price dropped, compared to the same days the week before.

Moreover, despite the ongoing Cyber Showdown event, Steam player counts continued to decline. The rate of shrinkage appears to be slowing, which is great news for the game. In addition, when it comes to strategies like price reduction, a few days isn’t always indicative of long-term results.

One thing is certain: while Halo Infinite’s watch time and Twitch viewership are still declining, the rate of decline is slowing. It’s not even close to the contrast between December and January.

Halo Infinite has been plagued by numerous technical issues as well as hacker intervention. Desync issues continue to be a source of frustration for players.

Furthermore, some recent server and matchmaking issues resulted in the ban of innocent players. Despite 343 Industries’ efforts to resolve the connectivity issues, BTB remains a problem. Even when players enjoy new events like Cyber Showdown, feedback is still given in order to improve the quality of the events.
