Twitch and FIFA Streamer Nick Bartles AKA RunTheFUTMarket fans have been waiting for him patiently to return to Twitch again but he didn’t waste any time giving his fans a piece of his mind after his long-term DMCA ban was lifted on Twitch.
RunTheFUTMarket’s latest statement comes after two days of being banned due to DMCA regulations on twitch for watching the highlights of Tokyo Olympic games with its audiences. He is one of the ultimate FIFA streamers and his latest ban sent shockwaves throughout the community with his fans and followers wondering when his channel would be active again.
Last July 28th, he shared with his fans and followers how long his ban lasted after his channel was opened back up and said in a tweet that he made it clear to Twitch that he is sick and tired of their inconsistent treatment knowing that other streamers from its site also suffer from it. He says that he sees that his strike was caused by DMCA and not Twitch but he is still livid with his long-term ban sentence while other streamers with higher view counts watch reruns of Olympics for days on the same YouTube channel.
He then called on Twitch for greater consistency in the future and said that his two day ban represents unfair treatment. He also added that other streamers get vile actions and disgusting promotions that result with no repercussions and only one-day ban.
Majority of his fans reacted to his tweet and he has been flooded with messages from its community and other well-known streamers like high profileYouTuber and Esports athlete Mike Labelle saying that consistency in communication is more than a fair request and that he have found himself constantly on stream asking his chat “Can I watch this?” and that “Does anyone know?”
Also the COO of Complexity, Kyle Bautista chimed in and felt sorry that he got banned and that the DMCA system is flawed, frustrating, outdated, and poor implementation across IP holders and its manual strike notices that’s why it comes off as very inconsistent though Twitch has to enforce every strike.
As of now, RunTheFUTMarket is now up and running and his said suspension lasted for two days.
