A Popular Twitch streamer Atrioc, was banned from the network on Friday, September 24th. Some fans have gone to social media to inquire about the cause for the Atrioc’s suspension.
Who is Atrioc?
Brandon Ewing, better known as Atrioc, is a Twitch streamer from San Jose, California. He is primarily known for his “simply chatting” streams, which are conversational in nature, as well as his games with other streamers.
Ewing presently has 164,000 YouTube subscribers and 185,000 on his streaming channel, where he publishes similar stuff.
Ewing is also the global consumer marketing manager of NVIDIA, a computer system design business. According to his LinkedIn profile, he worked in marketing for Twitch before joining NVIDIA.
Why was Atrioc banned?
Atrioc is believed to have been banned from Twitch after a segment of one of his streams had him Wikiracing – quickly skimming through a succession of Wikipedia entries that included images of male genitalia.

According to Twitch’s prohibited conduct section of its terms of service, users must not: Create, upload, transmit, distribute, or store any content that is inaccurate, unlawful, infringing, defamatory, obscene, p**nographic, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, harassing, threatening, abusive, inflammatory, or otherwise objectionable.
Atrioc has yet to address the ban explicitly, though he hinted at it on Twitter when he tweeted a seven-second video of the Wikipedia donation pop-up that frequently shows on the site.
