A Brazillian Twitch streamer Raulino de Oliveira AKA RaulZito was arrested last July 27th after he was accused of luring his fans with his social following and raping them. Two victims of him have recently come forward, ages between 10-14.
RaulZito is a well-known gaming content creator with hundreds of thousands of followers across Instagram, Twitch, and YouTube. According to the authorities, he used his fame in the gaming world to lure his underage fans and followers in and targeted users on Instagram with child actresses coming forward as victims and that he was detained last July 27th by the Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro’s Department for Child and Adolescent Victims in Florianopolis, in the state of Santa Catarina.
According to the police report, a video game YouTuber was accused of vulnerable rape against two children. According to the agents, the victim’s mother said that her son suffered from abuse at the hands of RaulZito between February and May and that the other child, who was under 12 years old, was also reportedly molested by him.
In light of the report from the two victims the DCAV team asked for search and seizure warrants from the court and a temporary arrest warrant after he was located and arrested. RaulZito’s team released a statement following his arrest saying that he is no longer part of the company (SBT Games) and that they await the elucidation of the results and facts of the investigation.
Also the police believe that there are more victims and finalize their statement by saying that the investigation continues to identify other victims of RaulZito.
