Battlefield 2042 was released last week for those who pre-ordered the Premium Edition of the game, and early feedback from gamers has been mixed.
Many features of the game have been slammed by the Battlefield community, including weapon bloom, various technical faults, big and empty areas, and a shortage of weapons.
In one of his most recent Twitch live shows, popular streamer and YouTuber Angry Joe, an avid fan of the Battlefield franchise, also chimed in with his thoughts on the Battlefield 2042 launch troubles.
Joe stated emphatically that Battlefield 2042 is the worst Battlefield launch ever.
He also chastised the gameplay and overpowered vehicles like hovercrafts, which have been a source of controversy since the game’s release.
“It’s not Battlefield, it’s Hoverfield 2042…there are far too many f****** hovercraft in the game, the call-in mechanism has absolutely wrecked the game, the vehicles are far too powerful, and they absolutely control the entire f****** experience.”
Joe, like many other Battlefield veterans, complained about the lack of a scoreboard, the poor user interface, and the Specialists, whom he compared to Call of Duty operators.
“Specialists do not replace classes, and at least half of them are junk!”
Joe’s diatribe, which is quite long by the way, also mentions the maps, which he finds neither interesting nor fun.
Joe continued his rage, “All the maps suck! I f****** detest the maps, there’s not a single one I adore.”
And it doesn’t stop there; in fact, it doesn’t even come close.
