Last month of June, FaZe Clan found themselves in hot water due to their involvement in a “pump and dump” scheme involving a cryptocurrency charity-based called ‘SaveTheKids’. This said scheme led to suspension of several members of Faze Clan such as Kay. He was permanently suspended and out of the group entirely, and now, he is ready to pay everyone back and set the record straight.
Frazier Khattri AKA Kay was last month’s highlight following his expulsion from FaZe Clan, but recently he released a video titled “What Really Happened With SaveTheKids” and explained. He lays much of the blame for the said scheme to his partner, Sam Pepper and claimed that his ignorance of the cryptocurrency space allowed his fanbase and him to be taken advantage of.
According to Kay, he have been quiet while they are collecting evidence and explained that he would never in a million years try to harm “on purpose” and “intentionally” scam or take advantage anybody.He said that that he is no crypto mastermind and that he is literally just a content creator and trusted the wrong people, that led to the disaster that he is in.
Kay apologized to those victims of the said scam and maintain his innocence throughout his released video, asserting that he didn’t made any profit from it except for Sam Pepper and then provides a proof of transaction that he claims, that showed money that was meant and set aside for Binance Lunch for Children and then eventually reached the charity crypto-based that provides meals for Uganda schoolchildren.
At the end of Kay’s video, he provide a dedicated email address for those who bought into the SaveTheKids cryptocurrency and said that that’s where they the victim of the said scam contact him for reimbursement and said that he is planning to donate the revenue he made from the ad of his video and crypto he has left .
Kay said that he spent 10 years in streaming and gaming industry and never been involved in any kind of drama and said that anyone who knows him knows that is not a reflection of who he is as a person and that he himself lost a lot from it and wanted everyone to know that he’s gonna be completely changing his lifestyle moving forward.
