Becca “JustaMinx,” an Irish-born Twitch streamer, received backlash after claiming to be pregnant in a picture she shared on Twitter.
Becca jokingly pretended to be the one who conducted the test while posting a picture of the pregnancy kit on her social media accounts. However, users soon realized that the image had actually been stolen from Google, proving that she was merely pulling a silly Christmas hoax.
Although the majority of her followers either laughed along with the joke or ignored it, some people commented and criticized the streamer for joking about taking a pregnancy test while pretending to be pregnant. In response, the streamer said that everything was just for laughs. She admitted it herself, saying she was “infertile.”
JustaMinx has a history of publishing content that causes some controversy. The 26-year-old posted a picture of a pregnancy test tube on her Twitter account earlier today (December 26), showing the condition of being pregnant. However, she did not own the photograph. The image’s source was swiftly identified on Twitter by people. The post continued to receive a lot of comments, most of which were disagreeable. While most just ignored it, some continued to demonize her.
The post was called “shi**y” in response by another Twitch streamer, Kitsu Queen. Motherhood is a dream for many people, another user wrote in a heartfelt remark, suggesting that the post may have been upsetting to some.
The streamer herself responded after viewing the critics. She claimed that taking a lot of medication would keep her from getting pregnant. She said; “hey babes, it’s a joke. im literally infertile because of my epileptic meds. block me and move on.”
