During Felix “xQc” Lengyel’s recent stream, he and his viewers watched Moment of Truth. The 2008 show only recently gained traction after several well-known content creators covered its dubious content.
Nick, the contestant in that episode, was engaged to Kyoko, a Japanese woman at the time, and was questioned he had to answer truthfully in order to win money.
Nick said no, and that he didn’t believe that was the case. He was able to advance to the next round because he was telling the truth. After the question was answered, xQc checked his chat and paused the show, saying, “Okay, that’s still not racist; like, dude, people have preferences – I’m not going to get into that.”
He paused the show for a few seconds after seemingly noticing another point of view on the subject with which he disagreed. He went on a long rant, repeating the phrase “oh my god” over and over:
“How – this chat.. oh my god. Get your stupid a** back to Twitter you snowflake, what’s wrong with you?”
Many people were perplexed by the question of whether the contestant’s parents would prefer him to date someone of his own race. xQc’s rant was more about whether people are allowed to have racial preferences when dating in general.
