Despite the fact that Warzone Pacific has been out for nearly three months, players are already looking forward to a “new start” with the upcoming Call of Duty installment.
On December 9, 2021, Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific was released, giving the Battle Royale a new look.
The update added a new map, Caldera, the Season 1 Battle Pass, 100 new tiers, new weapons, vehicles, and more, all while fully integrating the most recent Call of Duty: Vanguard release.
This meant that players had to adjust to a new Warzone style, one that some fans didn’t like.
On the Pacific Island of Caldera, things aren’t always fine and dandy, as players have had plenty to complain about since the game’s release, from Krampus ruining games during the holidays, the hacker who usually ruining lobbies, meaning that it’s safe to say that for some, the beloved essence for Warzone they once had is starting to fade.
Redditor GodeaterTJ suggested that Warzone “start fresh with MW 2022” in a post on the CODWarzone subreddit.
They expressed their dissatisfaction with the current state of the game, suggesting that the next Call of Duty release should start from scratch with Warzone.
It’s never surprising for players to want something new in their game, no matter how big or small it is. Only time will tell if Activision will make any changes to appease them in the future.
