The VCT 2021 final edition is upon us, with the ultimate Champions event set to begin on December 1st. A total of 16 teams will compete for the title of Champions and a share of the $1,000,000 USD prize pool worth $350,000 USD.
Following a series of events held around the Valorant Champions Tour pro circuit in 2021, we saw a slew of highly regarded professional teams, including Cloud9 Blue, Team Liquid, and Fnatic, battle it out in regional qualifiers and events in the hopes of securing a spot at the upcoming Valorant Champions, Riot’s first-ever event to determine a world champion since the game’s launch in June 2020.
Ahead of the Valorous Champions, Riot has bestowed upon the community a series of collectibles, as well as a brand new weapon skin bundle, which can be obtained throughout the tournament. The aforementioned bundle would include:
- The champions themed Vandal
- Champions Title
- An authentic Valorant karambit themed melee weapon
- Three player cards based on the Champions’ “Die For You” music video.
In addition, every active Valorant account now has a Champions 2021 player card that can be quickly equipped.
In addition, players can obtain two items: a VCT themed Gun Buddy and a spray. To watch matches during the Champions broadcast and Watch Parties on Twitch and Trovo, simply link your VALORANT accounts to Twitch, Youtube, Afreeca, or Trovo. Although the VCT gun buddy can only be obtained by watching matches between December 1st and 11th, the VCT spray can be obtained by watching matches between December 1st and 11th.
