Kanye West and Drake will perform their ‘Free Larry Hoover’ concert and Amazon recently announced that the show will be streamed live on Prime Video and Twitch.
The benefit concert will take place at the Los Angeles Coliseum tomorrow night (December 9th) at 8 p.m. Tickets for the show are available through Ticketmaster, but those who are unable to attend will be able to watch the entire performance for free in all countries where Amazon (or Twitch) operates.
West will be the show’s main attraction, confirming Drake’s appearance as a special guest earlier this month. It came after the two had reunited a week before, putting an end to a feud that had been going on since 2009.
At the beginning of November, West extended an olive branch to Drake, inviting him to appear on the show to raise awareness and advocate for the release of Hoover, who is currently serving six life sentences for gang-related charges.
He stated at the time that he believes the event will not only raise awareness for their cause, but will also demonstrate to people all over the world how much more they can achieve when they put their pride aside and work together. Hoover’s son Larry Hoover Jr. wanted and urged Drake to accept the peace offer of Ye’s, claiming that Drake is indeed a leader who makes decisions that people follow.
Hoover Jr. spoke about the show in an interview with the Murder Master Music Show after accepting West’s invitation, saying that they are going to get the word out to people that they need to let the powers that be know that they want Larry Hoover in their community. They also want to demonstrate to people from other communities that they can coexist peacefully.
Aerial footage captured by a photojournalist earlier this week revealed that a massive stage is being built for the show.
