Diablo 2 may finally get a new act after 22 years of waiting: D2’s Act 6 has been leaked by a popular D2R streamer/speedrunner.
MrLlamaSC, a well-known Diablo 2 streamer and speedrunner, may have unintentionally revealed plans for a new Act 6 in Diablo 2 Resurrected.
Act 6 could be part of a new paid expansion for Diablo 2 Resurrected, similar to Lord of Destruction, which was released in 2001.
With Patch 2.4, Blizzard is releasing new D2 content for the first time since 2005, including new runewords, character rebalances, and a slew of other tweaks.
Patch 2.4 is regarded as the start of Diablo 2’s revival, and it may make use of the standard of heroes item in some way.
When defeating the uber brothers during the Pandemonium event, SoHs are dropped alongside Hellfire Torch charms…but their exact use is unknown. Gamers have created urban legends and stories about SoH for years, but their true purpose is still unknown.
