In the CoD Vanguard Beta, the STG44 has proven to be one of the most popular weapons, and LA Thieves pro player and popular Twitch streamer Sam ‘Octane’ Larew has revealed his favorite class for shredding enemies.
Call of Duty: Vanguard transports the series back to World War II, bringing with it a slew of familiar weapons.
The Thompson M1928, MP40, and STG44 have all appeared in Call of Duty games before, and they’ll all be back in 2021. The latter has become very popular among professional players due to its damage and range.
Octane, a member of the Los Angeles Thieves and regarded as one of the best ARs in the world, has now released his STG44 class in Vanguard.
- Muzzle: Recoil Booster
- Barrel: VDD 760MM OSB
- Underbarrel: M3 Ready Grip
- Ammo Type: FMJ Rounds
- Rear Grip: Fabric Grip
- Optic: Slate Reflector
- Stock: Krausnick S11S Folding
- Proficiency: Pressure
- Kit: Surplus
- Magazine: N/A
In Vanguard, the STG is particularly effective at medium to long ranges, but recoil is bouncy. This helps to explain why Octane has chosen attachments that strike a balance between recoil and handling and mobility.
The Magazine is the only attachment Octane hasn’t filled, which is understandable given the number of negatives the category provides.
His optic, on the other hand, is one that you can change out depending on your personal preferences. We’d still suggest a smaller scope to ensure you don’t jeopardize your chances at closer ranges.
With the professional season still a few months away, it’s unclear which AR will be most popular.
The STG44 is still in the running, with Octane among those who find it powerful and viable in a variety of situations.
Both his opinion and this loadout can be trusted.
