Twitch star Nick ‘NICKMERCS‘ Kolcheff recently gave his first impressions of Apex Legends‘ new Control mode, and it appears he likes Respawn’s work.
A new character, Mad Maggie, has been added to Apex Legends Season 12: Defiance, as well as some other big changes, and Respawn Entertainment has announced the arrival of Mad Maggie as a new character.
Additionally, a previously leaked Control mode, which works similarly to Call of Duty‘s Domination mode, will be added to the mix, giving players the option of engaging in some intense gameplay without having to worry about losing.
A few content creators have already tried out the new mode, including NICKMERCS, who appears to be a fan of what Respawn is bringing to the table with this new mode.
In the February 4th playtest, the FaZe Clan star joined some other Apex Legends creators to show off his skills as the new legend as well as Control.
One of Nick’s first matches, a fan commented that the mode looked “fun,” giving him a chance to share his initial impressions.
The 9-vs-9 mode, as Nick points out, will only be available for a limited time, unlike Arenas, where it will be available in addition to the regular battle royale mode.
As a result, players should expect to join as soon as Season 12 begins. It’s possible that if it’s popular enough, it’ll stick around a little longer than expected.
