After revealing that he finally knows the reason behind his permanent ban on Twitch platform, Dr Disrespect says that he is going to sue the platform because of it.
Dr Disrespect’s mysterious ban from Twitch left the entire community in shock. It has now been well over a year since Dr Disrespect was permanently banned from Twitch. He was kicked from the platform never to return and has since found a home for himself on YouTube. He has kept everything under wraps and doesn’t mention the ban very often.
But now, in a shocking turn of events, Dr Disrespect revealed during his recent stream that he has known the reason behind his ban for months now and that he is currently leading his team in a legal battle against the platform.
Here’s what he said; “I can’t talk about it, but a lot of people ask me, ‘Do you know the reason?’ Yeah, I do know the reason why now. I’ve known for months now—the reason why. And I’ll just say this right now, champs: there’s a reason why we’re suing the fuck out of them. I don’t know how else to put it. The amount of damages and—you just don’t… Nah, nah.”
He is suing the platform for the damage they have caused. Doc fell short of going into the specifics of his lawsuit, but this is the most we’ve heard on the subject since his infamous ban.
The Doc didn’t say exactly why he was suing Twitch during the stream. However, he did talk about the networking and marketing challenges he and his brand have faced since it all went down. This is the first we’ve heard of a lawsuit from either party over the ban, but if Doc knows the reason why he was kicked off Twitch, it could be huge news. Dr Disrespect seemed to grow frustrated while talking about the damages he claims to have suffered from his ban.
