Popular Twitch streamer Felix “xQc” dedicated a livestream to playing Minecraft on April 19, 2023, with the goal of setting a new speedrunning record.
The content creator managed to reach a Stronghold during one of his tries in a time that was quite close to it. But when he couldn’t find the Ender Dragon portal, things went from bad to worse. The unfortunate circumstance caused the French-Canadian character to lose his cool and lash out, attributing the tragedy to problems with the world generating mechanics of the survival game. He used these words to show his displeasure: “Bro, another bugged one! This is just so s**t! F**k this game, man! F**king toddler a** bulls**t f**king scam game, man! Stupid a** f**king company. Bulls**t f**king Microsoft. A** cracked f**k!”
xQc was on course to smash the “god seed” speedrunning record for Minecraft during a webcast earlier today. For context, a “god seed” is a Minecraft world with all the necessary features for a speedrunner, such as a hamlet with a blacksmith, good lava spawn, and a Nether with a Bastion and Fortress nearby. In roughly 15 minutes, xQc was able to leave the Nether with all of the required supplies and find a stronghold. He started searching for the Ender Dragon Portal and was shocked to find the Stronghold’s layout, complaining that it wasn’t generated correctly: “What the f**k is this s**t, man?! It’s over because of some bulls**t f**king Stronghold again. Dude, another bulls**t Stronghold ending. This is just cringe, man! It’s mis-gen’d (generated)!”
The former Overwatch professional kept searching for the portal in vain. He aggressively referred to Minecraft as a “poor game” and said he couldn’t “handle with this s**t” in order to communicate his displeasure. “Bro, what is… it’s double mis-gen’d. This is just s**t. This game is just bad! It’s just a bad game. It’s just bad. It’s a bad game! Microsoft, Bill Gates, BlackRock! Yo! Man, I can’t deal with this s**t right now, man. If it’s down here, I’m going to panic. This place… dude, you could hide f**king bodies in here, dude! Bro, you could dump your net worth in here, nobody would never f**king find this b**ch a**, man!”
Nearly eight minutes later, xQc found the Ender Dragon gateway exactly close to the spot where he had entered the Stronghold. The game’s last boss was the 27-year-old personality, who declared before the fight: “It is what it is. The game is bad. It is what it is! By the way, if you think that this hasn’t happened, most good runs at a high level lose by Stronghold. It is a known thing.”
