We can all get a little heated while playing video games, but Kyrie Irving took it to a new level.
The star Nets point guard streamed himself playing Grand Theft Auto V on Twitch this week and went off on a series of bizarre rants about everything from drugs to OnlyFans.
He appeared to become enraged with his online critics, whom he accused of repeatedly making the “same jokes” about him. Then he began speaking in a sarcastic tone as if mocking them.
He didn’t stop there with the sarcasm, going on a rant about drugs and racism after that. Then, for some reason, his rant shifted to OnlyFans.
Irving abruptly cut off the stream after that part of the rant.
Irving has plenty of free time now that his Nets were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs in four games. Since his refusal to get vaccinated and play in home games during the 2021-22 season, he has been a source of controversy, and he appears to have some pent-up aggression about the topic.
