Zellsis Is Unbanned After Hateful Conduct Suspension

Sentinels flex player Jordan Montemurro AKA Zellsis recently made headlines earlier in August when he revealed that he would stay with the team through the 2023 campaign after some confusion regarding the status of his contract following a trade from Version1.

Due to this and the addition of Michael Grzesiek AKA “Shroud“, Sentinels became a dominant force in the Valorant and one of the most captivating teams for fans to watch, but many noted that Zellsis and his Twitch stream, which has over 135,000 followers, brought notoriety and a sizable group of fans to the Valorant squad in addition to the firepower that he added to an already strong lineup.

On August 17, Zellsis’ streaming career, unfortunately, experienced a minor setback. On Twitter, the pro player and streamer provided confirmation of the suspension’s justification. Wherein Zellsis’s account had been suspended; however, it had been lifted just 12 hours later.

According to Twitter user Jake Lucky, Zellsis thinks the ban was unfairly applied because the automated Twitch system mistook his cursing for a homophobic slur. Shanks, a fellow Valorant streamer who experienced a similar mistake, was swiftly unbanned.

It appears a similar mistake may have happened in Zellsis’ case as well, which explains the prompt reversal of the ban.
