xQc Turned Down Mobile Games Offer Of $1M

Popular Twitch streamer xQc responds to the backlash over his gambling streams by pointing to lucrative mobile game offers he’s declined.

Felix “xQc” Lengyel is known for gambling while livestreaming, and that content has returned to his channel, much to the delight of some and much to the chagrin of others. In response to the ongoing criticism of the aforementioned Twitch gambling streams, xQc mentioned a time when he turned down a $1 million offer to stream mobile games.

When the topic of gambling came up again during a Twitch livestream on May 19, xQc spoke candidly with his audience, as he often does. Fellow streamers Asmongold, Cr1tiKaL, Pokimane, and Myth have all expressed their displeasure with xQc’s return to gambling content on Twitch. Ignoring the controversy surrounding his Twitch gambling, xQc stated that he has previously turned down $1 million in order to avoid playing mobile games.

He also confirmed that he received offers of up to $1 million from mobile game developers to play their games for a certain amount of hours saying that the mobile game offers came with terms that xQc was less comfortable with than his slot sponsorship deal. The popular Twitch streamer mostly declined these offers because he doesn’t enjoy playing them and doesn’t have as much fun with them as he does when he’s gambling.

xQc has earned over $8 million since 2019, according to the 2021 Twitch leaks that revealed how much money many content creators make, and the revenue continues to come in as he remains one of the most popular livestreamers.

xQc broke his Twitch viewership record during the early days of the Overwatch 2 PvP beta, regularly hovering near the top of the view and subscriber counts. His gambling streams continue to attract over 60,000 viewers, contributing not only to xQc’s growing popularity, but also to his revenue, which is already rising thanks to gambling sponsorship and any winnings.

xQc has previously advised people to “get a grip” on their own lives before attempting to fix his, and he has also admitted that he isn’t a great role model because xQc has so much money to play with while slot gambling on Twitch, his losses may seem insignificant in comparison to their own gambling experiences. Although he didn’t specify which mobile games have offered him more than $1 million, well-known titles like Raid: Shadow Legends and Genshin Impact have the financial resources to offer Twitch streamers with the same clout as xQc.
