xQc Criticizes Trainwrecks “Unprofessional” Behavior

The ongoing feud with EA after they banned xQc from an Apex Legends tournament, xQc called out his fellow streamer Trainwrecks for his “unprofessional” behavior.

Trainwrecks was told he couldn’t compete in NICKMERCS’ $50k Apex Legends tournament because of his gambling streams, and he slammed the company for the decision but the drama didn’t end there. Trainwrecks has been vocal about his dissatisfaction with EA since the ruling, tweeting about it.

For example, given the reason he was banned from competing, he has spoken out against EA’s use of gambling sponsorship on soccer team jerseys in FIFA 22.

xQc spoke out about Trainwrecks’ response to the tournament ban during a Twitch stream on November 15, calling him out for being “unprofessional” in his handling of the situation and stated that he is neutral and that he believes it is always bad to publicly criticize a company that does not sponsor you or kicks you out of a tournament. That’s not at all professional.

He also stated that he is not working with Trainwrecks on this in any way. Even his first tweet, he believes, was a mistake. A company has the option of sponsoring or not sponsoring whomever they want.

Twitch, according to xQc, simply did not want him in the tournament. That is all there is to it. That was the end of the story, but it had nothing to do with gambling. Maybe it does have something to do with it. It might not be the case. They didn’t want him in the tournament in any case.

However, xQc agrees with Trainwrecks on one point: having gambling sponsors on FIFA’s kits “endorses” it.

However, it does not appear that Trainwrecks has softened his stance on the matter, and whether he will have the opportunity to work with EA again in the future remains to be seen.
