Twitch streamer Felix Lengyel aka xQc has joined in the recent podcast together with other big-name streamers on the platform such as HasanAbi, Ethan Klein, and Trainwrecks as they went on to discuss the current heated controversy on the platform, the gambling streams.

The gambling streams on twitch have once again become the center of controversy on the platform. It all started when H3H3’s Ethan Klein returned to the platform and discussed the matter on his podcast. Now, twitch streamer xQc joined the podcast in a debate with other biggest name streamers on the platform including Trainwrecks, HasanAbi and Ethan Klein himself.

During the podcast, xQc and Hasan got into a heated exchange regarding the regulation of gambling and other dangerous vices with xQc arguing that drinking and smoking streams can cause as much damage as gambling ones. The heated argument started as Hasan asked xQc stating; “Why do you think there are restrictions around gambling streams, slot streams, and gambling in general? Why do you think you have to leave a certain state to gamble freely on an off-shore gambling website.” which xQc quickly responds stating; “The same reason there’s laws around drinking, smoking. It’s a vice. It causes damage to people, their families, their mental health, it’s dangerous.”

Furthermore, Hasan then asked if xQc would accept a sponsorship from a cigarette brand to smoke on stream if he was paid enough money. It landed flat with xQc, who then highlighted drinking streams, like Mizkif’s popular Fireball Fridays, as being in a similar vein stating; “You were one sitting here the other day with Mizkif who was at ‘Friday Fireballs’ and you didn’t seem to think that bringing that up would be an issue.”

However, Hasan explained there was a difference between the three, but xQc claimed he was backpedaling and downplaying it. Regardless, the four moved on from the subject quickly after, but it has put a microscope on more than just gambling streams on the platform as Twitch has a 13+ age restriction. And despite having a heated argument with Hasan, xQc thanked the three others for the good talk, saying “we progressed somehow.”
