The x2Twins are, you guessed it, a set of Australian twins who have decided to double up as video gaming and streaming duo. They comprise of Jordan and Jesse Eckley who have been seeing a great deal of success since they started their stream in 2018, thanks largely to their high-level fps skills and high-ranking performances in both online Fortnite tournaments and LAN events.

What Mouse Does X2Twins Jesse Use?

x2Twins Jesse uses a FinalMouse Ultralight 2 Cape Town mouse. The FinalMouse Ultralight 2 Cape Town is a non-RGB ambidextrous mouse that comes with some pretty mixed reviews in terms of arrival condition and durability. It comes with Omron tactile switches, DPI options of 400, 800, 1600 and 3200, a Pixart 3360 Optical Sensor and a polling rate of 500Hz. The scroll wheel is serrated with a three-dot pattern to help with grip and control. There are two additional side buttons on the right thumb-side.

It’s a relatively small mouse at 4.53 x 2.09 x 1.4” (11.5 x 5.3 x 3.57cm) and also pretty lightweight at 1.7 ounces (47g), although the cord does add some extra weight to it. It also comes with three sets of infinity skins to add bulk to four different positions on the mouse. Each set also has a different thickness in order to attempt to make the mouse as appeal to a wide range of hand sizes. What Keyboards Do The X2TWINS Use?

Both x2Twins gaming setups use a SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL keyboard. The tenkeyless version of the SteelSeries Apex Pro has been incorporated into both of the x2Twins gaming setups. it differs from the full-sized version in that it is missing the numberpad on the right of the keyboard. It features an RGB illumination for its key bad and utilizes omni switches which allow for adjustable actuation distances of between 0.4 to 3.6 mm.

Furthermore, the user can store up to five profiles directly onto the keyboard. These profiles include the switch-actuation settings, RGP per-key lighting and These can be set up through the SteelSeries Engine software. These profile settings can be toggled between by means of the OLED screen and scroll wheel that are located on the top right corner of the keyboard. The lighting can also be adjusted through this screen.

The detachable wrist-rest is magnetized and is made from a soft, rubberized material. The rest of the keyboard is constructed on an aluminum alloy frame.

What Headsets Do The X2Twins Use?

The X2Twins gaming setups use HyperX Cloud Alpha headsets. The HyperX Cloud Alpha headset is closed backed, have over-ear, closed ear cups and has both a removable wire and noise-cancelling mic. It uses stereo sound that is controlled via the inline control box, as well as openings at the top of the ear-cups that create a sound-staging effect and has a frequency response range of 13 – 27,000Hz. However, this can also occasionally cause in-game sounds to be picked up by the mic, which can be confusing for teammates. The Shure SM7B is a unidirectional cardioid dynamic microphone that is used by many high profile streams, including Sodapoppin, Tfue and Loeya. It offers frequency response range of between 50 – 20,000Hz with a sensitivity of -59dB, as well as an impedance of 150Ohms. It is the It is the watered-down version of the G0XLR and has the capacity to handle one audio input source at a time, either in the form of an XLR cable, or a TS/TRSTRRS jack. It also has a connector for a headset.

Aside from the four volume sliders for Mic, Chat, Music and System controls, it also has a mute button for each, as well as a button to bleep out curse words and a temporary mute button for coughs and sneezes. Aside from that, the features of the original GoXLR have been removed, so there are no options for audio effects, voice changes, etc. The audio samplers have also been omitted from this model.
