A Twitch Streamer from Warrenpoint is looking to raise money by hosting a 24-hour Twitch Stream.
From 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 2nd, until 10 a.m. the next morning, April 3rd, host Amy Magee, Head of Elk Digital – Elk Creative Media, will take to the streaming platform Twitch to encourage people to donate much-needed funds to P.I.P.S Hope & Support.
She decided to dip her toe into the world of Twitch Streaming after doing several shows on Elk Digital and discovered the potential it had to build online communities and raise funds for important causes.
Amy has amassed a global audience of 200 people by streaming indie games, reading cringe books aloud, and playing.
Magee has a list of fun donation goals and incentives for people to donate on the day, and they can watch her slowly lose her mind on the Dustyamsos Twitch Channel.
For every £10 donation, your name will be entered into a drawing for a small prize.
To keep herself awake, Magee will also be streaming some fun/creepy games and horror. She’ll also be collaborating with other Twitch streamers on games. This fund-raising event can be watched live on Twitch or through JustGiving.
