Veritas uses a Logitech G703 mouse. The Logitech G703 LIGHTSPEED is a wireless gaming mouse for right-handed users that is now integrated with a Hero 25K sensor. This sensor offers a 100 – 25,600 DPI range that can be adjusted in increments of 50 via the software. Up to four DPI levels can be stored directly onboard the mouse itself. It operates at a maximum acceleration of 40G and has a maximum tracking speed of over 400 IPS. WHAT KEYBOARD DOES VERITAS USE?

 

Veritas uses a Cooler Master MK750 keyboard. Veritas’ gaming setup includes the version of the Cooler Master MK750 that it set with Cherry MX Brown switches. These switches give a soft & tactile feedback and actuate at 2.2mm at a force of 50G for a total travel distance of 3.7mm. These switches are not hot-swappable, but the keycaps can be replaced with a full standard-shaped set. Up to four macro settings can be done on the fly and stored directly on the keyboard itself.

This keyboard is constructed primarily from plastic. It also features flip-out feet with which to angle the keyboard. There is also a presence boost button and a high press-filter switch on its base. Although it does not require phantom power, you will need to buy an XLR cable and audio interface. WHAT WEBCAM DOES VERITAS USE?

Veritas uses a Panasonic LUMIX G7 camera. The Panasonic LUMIX G7KS is a DSLR Mirrorless camera that can shoot at up to 4k (3,840 x 2,160p) at 30fps. As it is a high-resolution DSLM camera, it is faster than a regular DSLR. This makes it more suitable for shooting fast-paced content, especially as it also offers 49-int autofocus as well as an autofocus sensor that can be switched between AFS, AFF and AFC modes. Furthermore, it comes with interchangeable lenses that is capable of recording for anywhere between 480 – 4,000 pixels for up to UHD 2160p and can capture photographs at up to 8mp.

The aperture and shutter settings can also be set with the front and rear dials. This allows for the ISO settings to be adjusted on the fly. Additionally, there are six function buttons that can be assigned any functions of the user’s choice. It offers an array of features including autofocus and zoom, most of which can be set on the viewfinder. All of these features are arguably unnecessary for a basic gaming stream, especially if the broadcaster is just starting out. So, you may want to check out basic plug-and-play webcams if that is the case.

WHAT MIXER DOES VERITAS USE?

Veritas uses a TC Helicon GoXLR mixer. The GoXLR is another extremely common piece of broadcasting equipment that forms part of Veritas’ gaming setup. It is designed for solo recordings and allows for one microphone to be inputted at a time. This can be connected with either a TS/TRS/TRRS jack or an XLR connector. It can provide up to 70dB of gain, as well as +48V of phantom power. Aside from a mic channel, the left half of the device also has dedicated channels for Chat, Music, and System. Each channel has its own dedicated volume slider and mute button. There is also a headset port for audio output.

The right side is then subdivided into three more parts. The top has various preset audio effects, and also allows for six buttons to be programmed with other effects through its software. The RGB lighting effects can also be set this way. The left side’s bottom-left corner has a sample section on which to program pre-recorded sounds for on-the-fly effects. The bottom right corner has a bleep and mute button for damage control purposes during live recordings.
