Kai Cenat, one of Twitch’s most well-known streamers, stated today that he had been banned from the website.
The celebrity who now has the most subscribed account on Twitch published a post on social media earlier this evening with the simple caption “BANNED.” The ban may be verified by going to the celebrity’s Twitch page, which shows the customary message seen on banned accounts implying that the streamer has broken Twitch’s community guidelines. There hasn’t yet been any official word on what precipitated this most recent suspension. But this isn’t the first ban Kai has had to deal with this year. Kai was banned from the platform four times prior to starting his subathon stream in January, making this appear to be his fifth.
This most recent suspension has reinforced calls for Kai to switch platforms given the recent tension between him and Twitch and the expanding number of streamers moving to Kick, a new streaming service establishing itself as a direct rival.
Fans should anticipate to see Kai return on Twitch after his suspension is lifted, but it doesn’t seem like there has been any official news to support these aspirations. But the precise date of this is unclear.
