Although TSM_Viss originally made a name for himself as a competitive PlayerUnknown’s Underground player and streamer, he decided to transition to Apex Legends instead in February 2019. Since then, he has continued to grow and is recognized for his insane fps kills and high leaderboard rankings. Therefore, we have written up an overview of the peripherals that feature in TSM_Viss’s gaming setup in case you’re interested in what he uses to enhance his fps precision and production quality.

WHAT MONITOR DOES TSM_VISS USE?

TSM_Viss uses an Asus ROG Swift PG248Q 24-inch monitor. The PG248Q supports a refresh rate of 1920 x 1080p at 144Hz which can overclock up to 180Hz with a response rate at 1ms. It is integrated with Nvidia G-Sync technology that is meant to eliminate screen tearing and decrease screen stuttering, as well as ASUS’ Eye care technology that has a blue-light filter that is meant to help prevent eyestrain during long gaming sessions.

It can be height adjusted about 0 – 12cm (4.72”), swiveled between +60° and ~-60°, tilted between +20° and ~-5° and pivoted 90°. It also has VESA wall mounting capabilities. Furthermore, it offers a few connectivity options, including DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 1.4 and USB 3.0 ports.

Its dimensions are 56.34 x 7.11 x 33.02cm (22.20 x 2.80 x 13.00”) and weighs ~6.62kg (14.6lbs). The G-Sync is only compatible with Windows 7 and up, but it does also work with Mac computers.

WHAT MOUSE DOES TSM_VISS USE?

TSM_Viss uses a Logitech G Pro wireless gaming mouse. TSM_Viss’ gaming setup includes the Logitech G Pro wireless mouse, which is probably among the most popular mice used by streamers. Other streamers who own it include Shroud, Danucd and UnknownxArmy. It has an ergonomic, ambidextrous design and weighs around weighs in at 79g (2.7oz), with dimensions of 3.82 x 62.15 x 11.66cm (1.57 x 2.5 x 4.92”).

It was recently upgraded to replace the original Hero 3 sensor with a Hero 25K optical senso that now offers a range of 100 – 25,600 dpi (originally 16,000), at a report rate of 1ms and tracking speeds of up to 400ips. The dpi button is located on the underside of the mouse and can be set with up to five profiles through the Logitech G HUB software. These can be set in increments of 50 anywhere within the range.

Further programable macro buttons include the four removable side buttons (two per side), the right and left clickers and the scroll wheel. Its 1.8m (70.86”) charging cable that allows the mouse to be used while charging.

WHAT MOUSEPAD DOES TSM_VISS USE?

TSM_Viss uses a Logitech G640 mousepad. The G640 is a large 40 x 0.3 x 46cm (15.75 x 0.12 x 18.11”) mousepad that weighs 354.37g (12.5oz.) It has a cloth surface with a textured rubberized underside that can be easily rolled up to be stored away or transported somewhere.

WHAT KEYBOARD DOES TSM_VISS USE?

TSM_Viss uses a Logitech G Pro keyboard. The Logitech G Pro has a tenkeyless design that is constructed from solid plastic with rubber feet to keep it stationary. Its Romer G keycaps are set on Clicky GX Blue switches that offer an actuation distance of 2mm (0.1”) with an actuation force of 50G. Logitech also claim that they are meant to last for up to 70 million keystrokes.

The programable F-keys and LIGHTSYNC RGB lighting can be set in Logitech G HUB. Its dimensions are 3.4 x 36.1 x 15.3cm (14.96 x 1.97 x 6.3”) and it weighs 980g (2.16lbs.) It is compatible with macOS 10.11 and up, as well as Windows 7 and up.

WHAT HEADSET DOES TSM_VISS USE?

TSM_Viss uses an ASTRO Gaming A40 TR headset. The Astro A40 TR is a wired headset with an over-ear design and its open back produces a stereo sound effect. The earphones are fitted with 40mm Open Transducer drivers that offer a frequency response range of between 20 – 20,000Hz with a nominal impedance of 48ohms and a distortion THD of <0.1%.

Its headband is padded and adjustable, and the earcups are cushioned with a leatherette fabric. It also has a 6mm detachable boom mic that can be attached to either side of the headset. Both the speaker tags and earcup padding can be swapped out with purchasable mod packs.

WHAT MICROPHONE DOES TSM_VISS USE?

TSM_Viss uses an AKG D5 microphone. The AKG D5 is a dynamic microphone with a super-cardioid polar pattern that can used either wireless or wired. It offers a frequency response range of between 70 – 20,000Hz, has a nominal impedance of 600ohms and a sensitivity of 2.6mV/Pa. It is constructed from metal with a dark stage blue finish.

It comes with a dual shock mount stand adaptor and a carry case, but you will need to buy a separate 3-pin XLR cable and preamp. It doesn’t run on phantom power, though.

WHAT WEBCAM DOES TSM_VISS USE?

 

TSM_Viss uses a Logitech BRIO webcam. TSM_Viss has opted for a BRIO in his gaming setup. It is a plug-and-play, clip-on webcam that can record at 4K Ultra HD, as well as 1080P and 720P. In addition to its autofocus, it also utilizes Rightlight 3 technology to automatically adjust exposure and contrast for glare or darkening.

Furthermore, it can toggle between fields of vision of 65°, 78° and 90° and can zoom in up to 5x.

WHAT MIXER DOES TSM_VISS USE?

TSM_Viss uses a BEHRINGER XENYX 1204USB mixer. The XENYX 1204USB is a mixer that can transmit the recordings of up to four microphones with either XLR or ¼-inch connectors. It can also supply +48V of phantom power, but it can only be set to provide for all or none of the lines at once. Each microphone channel has its own dedicated column of controls. These include a Low-Cut filter; Gain knob (-10 to +40); compressor; high, mid and low British EQ band knobs; pre- and post-fader auxiliary knobs, a right or left pan knob; a mute button and fader slider. There is no cue or amplifier, though.

The two columns next to the microphone controls are preamp control lines that offer similar knob and button controls, and a mastery section. It also comes with free downloadable editing software which include over 150 presets for various vocal ranges, effects, plugins and instruments, as well as downloadable drivers.
