An open-world zombie survival game DayZ recently exploded in popularity on Twitch, thanks in part to streamers like Summit1g, LIRIK, xQc, and others who have broadcasted the game to their audiences.
Summit1g also had a hilarious interaction with his friend and fellow top Twitch streamer Pokelawls while playing the game on stream yesterday where his DayZ stream last June 19th had gone as planned: spawning in, meeting new players, looting up, and attempting to survive as long as possible before dying, before repeating the process. That is, until the Twitch star stumbled into an extremely rare encounter, finding fellow streamer Poke hiding in a house, just over 13 hours into his broadcast.
Summit1g and a random player he had met a while before heard coughing coming from a nearby home, which started the interaction. Before receiving a “Hello?” they dashed to the front door and inquired about the strange noise. ” in reply.
Viewers in Summit’s chat quickly identified the player in question as Poke, and the streamer’s expression indicated that he was quick to notice as well. The two streamers couldn’t stop laughing at the strange encounter. His character was unfortunately killed only 10 minutes later, cutting the interaction with Poke short.
The two Twitch streamers were playing on a popular DayZ community server, according to one Reddit user, making their chances of running into each other a little less unlikely. Regardless, the meeting resulted in a hilarious video for fans to enjoy.
