StreamElements 2021 Diversity Program Recipients

The names of the twenty streamers chosen for StreamElements’ 2021 Creator Diversity Program were announced today by StreamElements (CDP). These streamers will receive a variety of products, as well as mentorship and support, to help them improve and increase their productivity as content creators.

This year’s CDP is aimed at streamers from underrepresented communities, “including, without limitation, Black, People of Color (PoC), Women, LGBTQ+, and Individuals with Disabilities.” StreamElements received over 3,000 applications this year, nearly six times as many as the previous year.

With so much talent to choose from, StreamElements’ CDP Manager Kacie Harold said in a statement that the 20 creators they chose represent a lot of amazing and diverse voices that are essential to the industry, and they are excited to be a part of their journey… It’s clear that programs like this fill a need, based on the many applicants and the moving stories they shared.

In 2021, the CDP will be awarded to the following twenty people:

The candidates were chosen for a variety of reasons, according to StreamElements, including “insights they provided on why they were applying, the type of content they produce, and channel data reflected a commitment to livestreaming and potential for growth.”

A budget will be provided to each recipient for items such as equipment, channel graphics, and professional services. Razer also said that they will provide them with new webcams and microphones, as well as professional mentoring from a StreamElements Creator Success manager.
