An In-Depth Look At StableRonaldo’s Gaming Setup

StableRonaldo’s Gaming Setup

StableRonaldo was a relative late-comer to the Fortnite scene, as he only began streaming in March 2019. However, he soon made a name for himself by earning high placements in cash cups and teaming up with other streamers such as UnknownArmyx. Below, we have provided a brief overview of the known peripherals that form part of StableRonaldo’s gaming setup in case you’d like greater insight into what he uses to maintain his competitive edge.

WHAT MOUSE DOES STABLERONALDO USE?

StableRonaldo uses a FinalMouse Air58 mouse. The FinalMouse Air58 Ultralight is a limited-edition gaming mouse that is available in either Cherry Blossom Red or Mystic Blue. It is brought to its 58g (2oz) weight thanks to its lightweight plastic chassis that has a honeycomb-punctured design and the omission of lighting features. It features a PMW3360 optical sensor that offers DPI options of 400, 800, 1600 and 3200. These cannot be adjusted. Furthermore, it has a polling rate of 500Hz at a response rate of 2ms and operates at a maximum acceleration of 50G and a maximum speed of 250IPS.

In addition to being co-designed with Ninja and even featuring his printed signature, each scroll wheel is hand-engraved and painted with a Japanese haiku that is unique to each mouse. It has two buttons on the right thumb-side as well as 100% PTFE feet to help provide more control while gaming.

WHAT KEYBOARD DOES STABLERONALDO USE?

StableRonaldo uses a SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL keyboard. StableRonaldo’s gaming setup includes the SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL wired gaming keyboard. It is fairly popular, and can also be found in the setups of BenjyFishy, the x2Twins and Bugha. They are integrated with OmniPoint adjustable switches that set with actuation points of between 0.4-3.6mm on a per-key basis. This can be done on the on-the-fly. Additionally, they operate with a force of 45cN at a polling rate of 1,00Hz and a report rate of 0.7ms. The keys also have full-key rollover and 100% anti-ghosting properties. These switches are set on an aluminum alloy frame and topped with removable PVC keycaps.

Its compact size of 13.9 x 35.5 x 4cm (5.48 x 13.99 x 1.60″) and the three-way cable routing on its underside allows for more desk space. Its OLED screen allows the user to change the brightness, rewind, skip, pause, volume and more, as well as to check app information such as KDA and money in CS:GO and messages in Discord. WHAT HEADSET DOES STABLERONALDO USE?

StableRonaldo uses a Logitech G430 headset. The Logitech G430 is a lightweight gaming headset that is intended primarily for PC gaming, although it is compatible with PS4 and Xbox devices as well. It is constructed from a plastic casing with a metal slider and 90° rotatable earcups so that its weight comes to 299.37g (8.1oz). The earcups are padded with sprots-performance soft-touch cloth fabric that can be removed and washed. The headband is also padded.

The over-ear, closed-back design helps with noise isolation and also prevents noise from bleeding out. They have 40mm drivers that offer a frequency response range of 20-20,000Hz at a nominal impedance of 32Ω and a sensitivity of 90dB. They provide DTS Headphone: X for Windows devices, and Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound for others.

Interestingly, he is one of the few streamers who actually uses his headset’s mic as his main mic. This isn’t surprising given its wide frequency response range of 50-20,000Hz that matches that of the Shure SM7B. Obviously, the Shure SM7B’s overall audio quality is superior to a headset mic’s, but it good to note nonetheless. It also has a unidirectional polar pattern and has a flip-to-mute design.
