Sodapoppin Reaction On Losing ‘The Legacy Award’ To Pokimane

Chance “Sodapoppin” was recently featured on One True King’s (OTK) Schooled gameshow, which was hosted by Matthew “Mizkif.” The most recent episode of Schooled featured several well-known Twitch streamers.

Mizkif made a joke about Sodapoppin not winning the Legacy Award at the 2022 Streamer Awards. Chance had a witty retort prepared in response to this statement. When asked why he didn’t win the prestigious fan-voted award, he expressed his disappointment.

On March 15, 2022, the fourth episode of One True King’s Schooled aired. After ten hours of live streaming, the on-demand video on Twitch had already racked up over 500 thousand views.

During the introduction of the contestants for the game show, Mizkif said a few words about each of them and shared some of their career highlights.

Chance was introduced by Mizkif hilariously. The camera panned over to Sodapoppin, who appeared to be having difficulty opening a wine bottle and ironically stated that Pokimane is superior to him.

The streamer continued to struggle with the wine bottle, expressing his frustration. Mizkif gave him a chuckle and began to inquire as to what he was trying to accomplish with the bottle.

Instead of the streamer losing the Legacy Award to Pokimane, fans  were more interested in the streamer’s battle against the wine and the bottle opener.

Pokimane’s influence on Twitch was barely mentioned. Some have said that Soda is one of the most popular Twitch streamers because he was one of the first to join the platform when it was first launched.

The Austin, Texas-based streamer is one of the Purple Platform’s most well-known content creators, with a large and devoted fan base. He has 3.2 million followers on Instagram and gets around 17,000 concurrent viewers per stream.
