Skrmiish, a pioneering gaming technology company, has teamed up with Sportsflare to give gamers the opportunity to put their Fortnite and Warzone skills to the test and win real money.
Skrmiish is a mobile app that allows gamers to compete for cash in Fortnite and Call of Duty: Warzone against their friends and favorite streamers. Skrmiish can now use Sportsflare’s Bet-on-Yourself functionality to create cash matches out of solo skill challenges thanks to the partnership.
Sportsflare is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tiidal Gaming Group Corporation, a publicly traded company focused on enabling next-generation competitive gaming and laying the groundwork for the future of game-based entertainment.
Skrmiish’s existing peer-to-peer cash matchmaking and free event functionality will be enhanced by the Bet-on-Yourself infrastructure, allowing Skrmiish to provide more gamers with competitive gaming experiences 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and more ways to win cash playing their favorite games.
The Bet-on-Yourself infrastructure enables partners to integrate account verification, pricing, risk management, settlement, and match data solutions into their platforms in order to provide their users with player-vs-environment (PVE) skill-based gaming. The partnership will start with Fortnite, with Skrmish planning to use Sportsflare’s technology on other hugely popular esports titles in the future.
Skrmiish is the first gaming app that allows gamers, streamers, teams, and brands to collaborate, compete, and monetise their gaming experiences. It was launched globally in 2021. Users can compete in tournaments and create cash matches on player-vs-player and PVE games using the app. For cash matches, the app has its own BTC cryptocurrency digital wallet that accepts both fiat and cryptocurrency payments. The wallet is currently in beta testing in the United Kingdom, with a rollout to the EU and the United States expected in the coming months.
Skrmiish, which is available on Android and iOS, has over 100,000 downloads and 30,000 active users across its various competitive gaming features. Fortnite and Call of Duty: Warzone are two popular games right now, and there are a slew of new titles coming out in 2022.
