P4wnyhof uses an Asus Rog Swift 279Q monitor. This includes pivoting 90°, swiveling -60° ~ 60°, and tilting -5° ~ 20°. Its height can also be increased by up to 12cm (4.73”) or completely removed from the mount for VESA wall-mounting of 100 x 100mm.
Its gaming features consist of its NVIDIA G-Sync technology and ASUS to reduce lagging, tearing, and stuttering, and ASUS’ Eye Care Technology among others. The G-Sync helps to reduce eyestrain during longer gaming sessions, while the Eye Care provides four blue light options to choose from. P4wnyhof uses a SteelSeries Rival 650 wireless gaming mouse. The Rival 650 is a wireless mouse that features a SteelSeries TrueMove3+ Dual Sensor System. This provides a DPI range of 100 – 12,000 that can be set in increments of 100 through its SteelSeries Engine 3.12.13 software. Up to two DPI profiles can be stored directly on the mouse. The sensor operates at a maximum acceleration of 50G and a maximum speed of 350 IPS. It also features an adjustable polling rate of 125, 250, 500, and 1000Hz.
Its chassis is composed of a fiber reinforced plastic core with a soft-touch plastic surface. The ergonomic shape with dimensions of 13.1 x 6.9 x 2.7cm (5.2 x 2.7 x 1.7″) is more suited for medium-to-large right-handed users who prefer a palm grip-style. It is also designed for those who prefer heavier mice, as its base weight is 121g, and this can be increased up to 153g thanks to the eight 4g weights that it comes with. These can be distributed in 256 different combinations according to the user’s preferences.
Its battery can last up to 24 hours and features rapid charging speeds, as 15 minutes of charging will provide an extra 10 hours of use. It can also be used while it is plugged in and charging in the computer, to further simplify things. P4wnyhof uses a SteelSeries Prism Cloth XL mousepad. The RGB version of the SteelSeries Prism XL mousepad offers 2-zone RGB around its border. It comprises of a micro-woven cloth surface set on a non-slip rubber base. Its smooth, dense surface is designed to optimize tracking for both laser and optical mouse sensors.

P4wnyhof uses a SteelSeries Apex Pro keyboard. P4wnhof’s gaming setup features the full-sized version of the SteelSeries Apex pro. This wired keyboard is constructed primarily from Series 5000 aircraft-grade aluminum alloy and is set with OmniPoint mechanical switches. This impressive feature allows the user to adjust the actuation point on-the-fly between 0.4 – 3.6mm on a per-key basis. They operate at an actuation for of 45.9G and a 0.7ms report rate. These are then topped with removable PVC keycaps.
Additional features include its per-key RGB lighting that can also be set on a per-key basis, six macro keys with options to store up to five profiles, as well as its OLED Smart Display. It is a unidirectional dynamic microphone that operates at an end address. This combination provides a noise-cancelling effect, because it is sensitive to sound inputs directly in front of it and background noises are unlikely to be picked up. In order to further minimize unwanted sounds from filtering into recordings, it also features a built-in pop-shield and shock mount, and also comes with an external, removable windscreen.
It offers a flat frequency response with a range of 50 – 20,000Hz that operates with a nominal impedance of 150Ω and has a sensitivity of -59 dBV/Pa. This makes its optimal to effectively capture vocals and bass instruments. There is also a presence boost button and a high press-filter switch on its base.
Although it does not run on phantom power, it does still require the additional purchase of an XLR cable and audio interface. It does come with a switch cover and locking yoke mount. Furthermore, it is constructed from enamel aluminum with a steel case. This gives it durability to protect its cartridge.
Although this is impressive, P4nthof has said that he recommends the Elgato Wave:3 as a cheaper option for those who are just starting out. This is probably advisable, as it has a plug-and-play design that eliminates the need for an audio interface. Its frequency response range is 70 – 20,000Hz and it too operates with a unidirectional polar pattern and side-address.

P4wnyhof uses a Sony Alpha a6300 camera. The a6300 is a mirrorless digital camera that is fitted with an APS-C Exmore CMOS sensor. It can record at a maximum resolution of 4K. This is implements at 30p for still shots, up to 120fps in Full HD and up to 11fps for high-speed continuous shooting. It also offers 4D autofocus with 425 phase detection points. This is possible due to its rapid eye-detection technology and allows the sensor to lock onto a subject within 0.05 seconds.
