Ludwig Says Twitch Better

Former Twitch streamer Ludwig Anders Ahgren, also known as Ludwig, attained significant fame thanks to his stream subathon.

After his unprecedented 30-day stream came to an end, Ludwig attracted a huge following and received widespread fame. He became the ruler of Twitch bank because to the large number of subscribers and fans he attracted as a result. He still retains the record for the streamer with the most active subscribers because it was such a significant accomplishment. However, his reign was brief. Ahgren revealed on November 29, 2021, that he would stop live-streaming on Twitch and switch to YouTube Gaming the following day. This arrangement allegedly involved millions of dollars, which forced the streamer to change sides.

However, he recently published a video titled “Twitch is Better Than YouTube” on his own YouTube channel Mogul Mail. Is Mogul still kicking himself for quitting his previous platform after all these time?

In this video, Ludwig argues that YouTube gaming lags behind Twitch by at least three to five years in terms of technology. As the video goes on, Ludwig goes into great length to clarify this problem. He claims that both systems’ browser tabs are the issue. In contrast to YouTube, the home page and browser sites for Twitch users are far more well-designed and customized. The home page of YouTube Gaming doesn’t include the names of notable streamers who are online or the most popular games. Instead, streams and kid-friendly videos are all over the browser page, which parents use to keep their kids entertained.

The YouTube algorithm is unable to display the streams from the user’s areas, even after sorting by region. For instance, the top video on Ludwig’s page was a Japanese video when he tried to sort by region.

Ludwig claims that these problems prevent YouTube from overtaking other streaming services. The experience that users deserve is not being provided to them. Ludwig came up with Playboard as a workaround since it makes it more easier and more simple for users to explore YouTube Gaming and Streams. Ludwig, though, is enraged by the requirement for third-party software in order to access YouTube.

He developed this film specifically to throw some light on the glaring problems that YouTube is currently experiencing as a platform, and he believes that his work will aid in its development and advancement to even greater heights.
