Lost Ark 1.27 Peaks On Its Launch Day

On Twitch, Lost Ark is now the most watched game. Lost Ark had the highest viewership of any game in the last two weeks, according to TwitchTracker’s analytics website. The game’s first day of early access, Feb. 8, saw the highest number of live viewers, with 578,984 as of February 9th.

Few recent games have garnered as much attention as Lost Ark has. Only Minecraft has had a higher level of viewership in the last month. According to SullyGnome, Twitch users are also watching for long periods of time, with the first day clocking in at over 10 million hours.

Streamers in a variety of languages have been enthusiastic about the game, with nearly equal numbers of German, Korean, and Spanish-speaking streamers as English-speaking ones. The Spanish-speaking streamers Joaquin “Elxokas” Dominguez, Felipe “YoDa” Noronha, and Zack “Asmongold” are among the most popular for the game.

For Lost Ark, Asmongold has been by far the most popular streamer. He maintained a significant portion of the game’s total viewership in his return to Twitch streaming, with a peak of 284,644 viewers. Since last September, Asmongold hadn’t streamed on his main channel since then. Similar situations have occurred before with the world’s most popular MMO streamer, such as his successful Final Fantasy XIV Online streams.

One of the most anticipated MMO releases in recent memory has been Lost Ark. On November 12, 2018, the game was first released in the South Korean region. On February 11, 2021, the game will be released in North America, Latin America, and Europe, though Smilegate and Amazon Studios have allowed early access before then. The game focuses on PvE and exploration, but it also has PvP elements.
