Lando Norris Life On And Off The Track

McLaren’s driver Lando Norris is recently establishing himself as a force to be reckoned with both on and off the race track.

Lando Norris, 22, has the world at his feet after establishing himself as one of the sport’s most popular drivers and is leading the new generation of drivers. He has yet to win a race, but he has consistently outperformed teammate Daniel Ricciardo, and a first win appears to be on the cards.

Norris, on the other hand, is the man to beat off the track. While some of the more experienced drivers have more social media presence, this is still impressive – and it’s on Twitch, where he has over a million followers, that he’s found a niche.

In many situations, someone Norris’ age might lose touch with reality, grow too big for their boots, and believe they’ve reached their pinnacle – but that isn’t the case with the McLaren driver.

Norris has talked about his desire to push himself and his car further throughout the season. That desire, however, is exclusive to McLaren.

Norris signed a new long-term contract with the team earlier this year, and it has since been revealed that Red Bull had spoken to the Somerset ace about a possible switch that would have put him on the same team as title-chasing Max Verstappen.

Such a move would have been a bit premature, but with a spot at Mercedes opening up earlier this year before being taken by George Russell, there’s no doubt that Lando Norris could have made the move if he wanted to.

Norris, on the other hand, is up for the challenge and is along for the ride with McLaren, which has high ambitions for the coming years, with regulation changes in 2022 and the team planning new developments of its own, including a wind tunnel for testing the car.

That level of maturity on the track is impressive, and Norris has spoken about his struggles with certain aspects of being in the spotlight – not how it affects him, but how it affects those around him.

He believes the only negative aspect is his personal life with friends, who, through no fault of their own, are occasionally thrust into the spotlight as a result of being seen with him or him following them on social media or something.

He believes that is the worst aspect of saying that someone who is just quiet on their own and is seen with him at dinner or on an Instagram post. There are still a lot of nasty fans, a lot of fans who are just not nice and use a lot of people and such.

He’d also say that the worst part about fame has been meeting people like that. People who do not respect people’s personal lives or the people with whom they associate, and so on. That is unquestionably the worst part.
