Dyrus’s Gaming Setup: An In-Depth Look

Dyrus has been creating YouTube content in 2011 and grew so quickly that he was offered the chance to move into the TSM gaming house as a non-member. He accepted and was soon promoted to a member of their League of Legends (LoL) pro team after an opening came up. From there, his career continued to grow, until he decided to retire in 2015 to pursue a full-time streaming career. Since then, he has evolved into more of a LoL and variety streamer, and occasionally creates joint content with other big streamers such as Imaqtpie and Sodapoppin. We’ve put together a comprehensive list of equipment that Dyrus’s gear uses in his gaming setup.

 

WHAT MOUSE DOES DYRUS USE?

Dyrus uses a Logitech G Pro wireless gaming mouse. The Logitech G Pro wireless mouse has an ergonomic and ambidextrous design. Its battery life can last for up to 63 hours when its RGB lights are turned off. It can still be used while it is charging, either via its cable or by means of the Logitech G Powerplay mousepad.

It has an integrated HERO 3 optical sensor that has a dpi range of between 100 – 16,000Hz, as well as a tracking speed of 400ips and a report rate of 1000Hz@1ms. The dpi can be adjusted in increments of 50 through the Logitech G Hub software.

There are four base buttons, namely the right and left clicker, dpi button and power switch (both located at the bottom of the mouse,) as well as another optional four buttons, which can be set two to each side. It weighs 79g (2.8oz), has dimensions of 3.82 x 62.15 x 11.66cm (1.57 x 2.5 x 4.92 inches). and has a 1.8m (70.86”) charging cable.

WHAT KEYBOARD DOES DYRUS USE?

Dyrus uses a Logitech G610 keyboard. The Logitech G610 Orion is a full-sized, wired gaming keyboard that utilizes Cherry MX red switches with white LED backlighting options. It has 104 keys that are programed with anti-ghosting capabilities, as well as 12 programable F-keys at the top row of the keyboard. The keys have actuation force of 45G, actuation points of 2mmm and a key travel distance of 4m.

The chassis is constructed form a heavy plastic and has media controls and a wide volume wheel located in the top right corner. In addition to the five anti-sliding feet, there are also two sets of feet to increase the keyboard’s angle to either 4° or 8°. Its dimensions are 15.3 x 44.35 x 3.43cm (17.5 x 6 x 1.4”) and it weighs 1.2kg (2.6lbs).

WHAT HEADSET DOES DYRUS USE?

Dyrus uses Sennheiser PC 360 SE headset. Dyrus uses the Special Edition of the Sennheiser 360 headset. It has a wired, open-backed design and a plastic construction. The over-ear ear cups are cushioned with XL Velour padding. The driers have a frequency response rate of between 15 – 28,000Hz and a nominal impedance of 50Ohms as well as a sound pressure level of 116dB. The unidirectional, noise-cancelling microphone is a flip-up mic that automatically mutes when vertical. There is also an integrated volume control knob on the outside of the right ear cup.

The cord is 3m long. There is also a PCV 07 combo audio adapter with a 2.55 jack included with it for compatibility with Mac, PS4 and other consoles. The headset weighs 620g (1.36lbs.)

WHAT CONTROLLER DOES DYRUS USE?

Dyrus gaming setup includes a HORI Fighting Commander controller. The HORI Fighting Commander for is designed specifically for 2D fighting games with a 6-button layout and is licensed by Sony. They have a sturdy build and weigh 680.4g (1.5lbs.)

It is compatible with PlayStation 3, 4 and PC. This setting can be toggled with a switch at the bottom of the device. There is also a switch on the main layout to toggle between the left stick, right stick and D-pad. Another switch is located at the top of the pad to set whether the L1 & 2 and R1 &2 buttons will function normally or whether their functions will be switched to the right shoulder buttons for easier access.
