Dr Disrespect Spills The Beans

DrDisrespect

Popular YouTube streamer Dr Disrespect claims to have inside information on a possible Halo Infinite battle royale mode, despite the fact that 343 Industries has been heavily pressed on the subject for months.

One of the most popular rumors for 2021 is that Halo’s next game will include a BR mode, with fellow streamer Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop repeatedly calling for one on Twitter. Moving away from the big content creators, the franchise’s devoted fanbase has made similar rumblings go viral on social media on several occasions.

Even after a comprehensive trailer that didn’t include a mode similar to Warzone or Apex Legends, the multiplayer was still broken down.

That hope may have risen on September 22nd, when Dr Disrespect hinted at having one of the internet’s biggest scoops.

He claimed to be in the know about an upcoming battle royale announcement during a stream with Z Laner, who was streaming his gameplay on Twitch today.

He stated that he is hoping to jump right into a battle royale game too, and it will be a lot of fun.

Soon after, he was interrupted by laughter on the stream, so he continued and said 300 players, set loop, power weapons on the map, the map designed around the power weapons and locations and points of interest, according to what he had heard. He said that he got all the sources from inside and it will supposedly feel fantastic as well as being highly optimized.

Dr Disrespect added that they are going to knock it out of the park if this first technical Alpha test is anything like that.

If you’ve ever watched Dr. Disrespect on stream, you’ll know that he constantly walks the line between reality and jokes, so this is most likely just a joke. However, for those hoping for it to happen, little hints like this should keep them going until the official word comes out.

Halo Infinite’s multiplayer will be available for free on both Xbox One and Xbox 360, with cross-platform play.
