Popular streamer Dr DisRespect called out Respawn Entertainment, the company that created Apex Legends, citing a “terrible” audio problem in the battle royale. The Two-Time even suggested that Respawn meet with the design team, resolve the problem right away, and completely overhaul the audio glitches.
Apex Legends has experienced its fair share of technical issues over the past few months despite being a titan in the battle royale genre. The technical state of the popular shooter game has drawn harsh criticism from both professional and casual players ever since it was released, and the Doc is no exception.
Doc continued during a recent livestream to discuss Apex Legends’ audio design and his dissatisfaction with it. The streamer, who boasts a whopping 4.1 million subscribers on YouTube alone, joined some of his close friends in streaming Fall Guys and CoD Warzone.
He praised Warzone for its recent advancements but bemoaned Apex Legends’ lack of comparable changes, saying Respawn should pay close attention to audio bugs. The American streamer exclaimed as he listed the main audio problems.
In keeping with his train of thought, he even emphasizes how crucial it is for Respawn to address this specific problem because it ultimately degrades a player’s gameplay experience. Respawn needs to overhaul every audio component, including every character movement and special ability.
Players of Apex have previously brought up a technical issue with the game’s battle royale audio design. Popular Twitch streamer LuluLuvely expressed a similar opinion a few weeks ago, calling attention to Apex’s audio as well as other technical issues during her stream.
