Crysis 2 Is Remastered

Crysis 2 Is Remastered

The Crysis Remastered Trilogy was recently released on PC and consoles. The collection costs $50 and includes three single-player campaigns from three different games ( Warhead not included). In comparison to the originals, all three remasters featured significant improvements.

Two Crytek developers discussed the improvements in Crysis 2 Remastered during a Twitch stream. Some upgrades are available on both PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, while others are only available on PC.

Ray tracing was used in both hardware and software in Crysis 2 Remastered. However, both are PC-only, so even if you have the most recent consoles, you won’t be able to use RT. This is strange because Crysis 1 Remastered for consoles did support RT. NVIDIA DLSS support and shadows on Water were also included in the PC version.

The game could run at 60 frames per second on the latest consoles, with up to 4K resolution support. Weapon animation at 60 frames per second and water ripple animation at 60 frames per second are among the new features. HDR support would be added to all platforms via a Day Zero Patch, according to the stream.
