Although he only really became known when he switched to playing Fortnite, Cloakzy has been working on his fps skills since childhood, as his first game was H1Z1. Therefore, it’s no surprise that he is considered one of the most highly skilled fps players on Twitch, often squading up alongside other high-profile streamers such as Tfue and Scump. CLOAKZY’S MONITOR

 

 

Cloakzy uses an ASUS ROG Swift PG258Q monitor. The ASUS ROG Swift PG258Q is a 24.5-inch monitor that has a refresh rate of 240Hz and a response time of 1ms with a 1920x1080p display. The screen is also imbedded with a blue-light filter that is certified by TUX Rhineland and also features flicker-free back lighting that is designed to reduce eyestrain over prolonged periods of gaming. Its NIVDIA G-Sync technology further aids gamers by preventing screen-tearing.

It can be adjusted between 10.16 – 15.24cm (4 – 6”), height and tilted up to 160° on its stand and also has VESA wall mounting capabilities.

CLOAKZY’S MOUSE

 

 

Cloakzy uses a FinalMouse Ultralight Cape Town 2 mouse. Cloakzy’s addition to his gaming setup up is shared by both x2Twin’s Jesse and summit1g. It is a relatively lightweight, wired, ambidextrous mouse with dimensions of 4.53 x 2.09 x 1.4” (11.5 x 5.3 x 3.57cm). As it is obviously quite small on its own, FinalMouse has also included three sets of reusable infinity skins of varying thickness that can be stuck on top of each other each for additional bulk. Each set comprise of four parts. Aside from its size, another reason for its weight is its lack of RGB lighting.

Control-wise, it comes with Omron tactile switches, a Pixart 3360 Optical Sensor with a polling rate of 500Hz. The scroll wheel is serrated with a three-dot pattern to help with grip and control. Its DPI can be toggled between 400, 800, 1600 and 3200 with the DPI button located below the scroll wheel and there are two additional side buttons for macro binds on the right thumb-side.

CLOAKZY’S MICROPHONE

 

 

Cloakzy uses a Shure SM7B microphone. The Shure SM7B is a professional unidirectional, dynamic microphone that is designed for professional music and vocal recordings. It has a frequency response range of 50 – 20,000Hz, as well a sensitivity of -59dB. It also has an impedance of 150 Ohms that is suitable for microphone inputs that are rated at between 19 and 300 Ohms.

Further features include a boost button and high-press filter switch on the It also has a detachable windscreen in addition to its internal pop-filter, thereby providing options for a double protection against unwanted plosive sounds marring audio recordings.

CLOAKZY’S MIXER

Cloakzy uses a 2nd Gen Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 audio interface. The Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (2nd Gen) audio interface is constructed around a sturdy aluminum chassis. The control panel at the front of the device allows for two microphone channels, each with a port for either an XLR or ¼-inch (6.3mm) cable with a dedicated gain control knob, as well as a switch to toggle between line or instrument level inputs.

The main section of the controls has an on/off switch for zero latency monitoring as well as a large monitor dial to control the outputs for devices that are connected to the interface, as well as a volume control dial for the headphones.
