BasicallyHomeless Creates $10k Gaming PC

YouTuber BasicallyHomeless has finally constructed the crucial PC setup that every gamer fantasizes about, as his Nvidia RTX 3090-powered gaming mini-fridge may forever change appliances.

There’s nothing like settling back with a refreshing drink and taking in the taste of triumph when you need a break after picking up wins in Warzone. Many gamers have purchased mini-fridges to keep near their gaming setups over the years. Microsoft went so far as to design operational mini-fridges based on the Xbox Series X design.

However, YouTuber BasicallyHomeless has taken things to a whole new level with his $10,000 setup, which will keep your 12 pack of Pepsi Max as cold as ice as you murder fools in Verdansk.

The YouTuber’s ambitious project has been sitting in the background for so long that he “lost twenty pounds” and gave birth to his “firstborn son” while working on it. He did, however, ultimately get around to putting everything together.

Attempting to fit a PC system directly into a mini-fridge “doesn’t work,” turning the situation into a “hot insulated wet box, with highly expensive and shattered computer parts in.”

Because the cooling system “wasn’t powerful enough,” the content creator was forced to think outside the box.

Eventually, he was able to put together a system with an RTX 3090 graphics card, allowing him to play games as smoothly as possible while keeping the drinks cool.

To make it work, the YouTuber had to rustle up”custom constructed holes or mounts,” according to the science behind the fridge. Finally, at 12 degrees/56.6 degrees Fahrenheit, the PC/mini-fridge could cool a drink. It also provided superior cooling at 4K resolution than it did at 2K.
